The Wade Fish Jugs are an iconic shape that have been around for over 150 years.
All handcrafted in the UK, they can be used as a jug, a vase, a decanter or as the perfect gift for any occasion.

Wade is an iconic British brand with over 200 years heritage and excellence in ceramics.  Each jug is made from high quality clay material called English Earthenware. Using a traditional “slip casting” method the jugs are formed using a plaster mould and once dried, fired in one of our kilns.  Each jug is then hand dipped into a colour glaze before going back into the kiln when it is then packed ready for sale.

AUTHENTIC GURGLING SOUND

One of the hallmarks of the fish jug has always been the authentic gurgling sound it makes whilst pouring.
The jug produces the signature gurgling sound when liquid is poured from the jug when three quarters full.
This is the result of an airlock in the fish tail when the bubbles come out.

The gurgling sound adds an extra layer of charm to any table setting and works as a conversation starter.
